Carlson is a local business woman providing financial services including real estate lending, educating, and consulting.  During the financial crisis, Carlson, “horrified by the advantage being taken of families” volunteered to help many families with housing distress by assisting with financial strategies, loan modifications, credit coaching, and workshops.

Carlson also serves as chair of Tehama Together, the community organization responsible for recently bringing 2-1-1 services to Tehama County, helping plan the recent Tehama County Veterans Expo, helping organize the Food From the Heart fund drive and sponsoring next December’s Red Bluff Children’s Christmas Festival.

Carlson, having belonged to the 4H and having volunteered for many years with the Red Cross, is an Air Force Veteran and Sonoma State University honors graduate with degrees in Business and Psychology.  She spent several years managing recreation programs, worked in human resources, served as a union representative, and worked in Steamfitters Local 342 prior to opening her business.

Carlson, mother, grandmother, and homeowner in the Red Bank area, claims to be a better listener than talker and has conducted a listening campaign in preparation for her candidacy, meeting with the current Supervisors, County Administrator, District Attorney, Sheriff, and department heads;  Republicans, Democrats, Independents and Tea Party representatives; Chamber of Commerce, Downtown Red Bluff Business Association, and union representatives; nonprofit groups and community leaders; attending County Supervisor and City Council meetings.

“The people here have brilliant minds and ideas; with collaboration we can solve today’s problems while ensuring our children’s future.  As your supervisor, I will encourage job creation, make services for veterans and their families a priority, work to find constructive outlets for people released under AB109, protect water resources and preserve our rural quality of life.”

You are invited to meet Ms. Carlson at several events (see the event page). 530.727.8803 or
